LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 24, 2018 -- Today, at the 2018 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (“Annual Meeting”) of Churchill Downs Incorporated (“CDI” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq:CHDN), R. Alex Rankin formally assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Also, at the Annual Meeting, Karole F. Lloyd and William C. Carstanjen, Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company, were elected as Class I Directors serving a term of three (3) years, expiring at the 2021 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. At the Board of Directors meeting following the Annual Meeting, Lloyd was elected to the Audit Committee of the Board.
