Coal India Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) will review results for the quarter ended Sept. 30 at board meetings on Oct. 29-30, with Coal India also considering a possible interim dividend.

Coal India’s BSE filing schedules its board for Thursday, Oct. 29, to review second-quarter and first-half results and consider a second interim dividend for financial year 2026-27. BEL’s Oct. 16 BSE filing sets a Friday, Oct. 30, meeting to consider unaudited standalone and consolidated quarterly results. IGL’s official announcements page lists a meeting notice for Oct. 30; a BSE filing summary says its board will review unaudited quarterly and half-year results.

LiveMint and Business Today reported that Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited (MOFSL) projects BEL revenue 16% above the year-earlier quarter, assuming it converts part of its ₹720 billion opening backlog into sales. The brokerage expects margins to ease to about 27.7%, a 170-basis-point annual decline, as the mix of work delivered shifts.

For IGL, LiveMint reported that MOFSL expects total volumes to grow 6% year over year. The outlet also reported the brokerage expects Coal India production to remain muted amid seasonal weakness, with e-auction premiums and global uncertainty among factors in its outlook. IGL’s exchange filing for the June 2026 quarter reported total volume of 878.98 million standard cubic metres, up 6% from a year earlier.

Coal India’s provisional data showed September production of 53.5 million tonnes, up 9.2% year over year, while April-September production totaled 321 million tonnes, down 2.5%. September offtake rose 12.5% to 61.2 million tonnes; the first-half total was 384.2 million tonnes, up 7.6%.

LiveMint reported MOFSL target prices of ₹530 for BEL, ₹500 for Coal India and ₹191 for IGL, alongside estimated gains of 38%, 18% and 33%. Using the Oct. 23 closing prices published by LiveMint, the targets imply price-only increases of about 47%, 26% and 35%, respectively, before dividends. Those calculations differ from the outlet’s reported percentages. Coal India’s board meets Thursday, Oct. 29, followed by BEL and IGL on Friday, Oct. 30.
