An Oct. 15 Coinbase Markets view of XRP derivatives breaks down open net-long exposure by average entry price, helping distinguish position data from evidence about the wider token market.

The measure nets short positions against long positions and groups the remainder by average entry price. It describes derivatives exposure, so it does not measure XRP holdings overall or show what share of token holders are losing money.

An entry-price grouping alone cannot locate a trader’s liquidation point. The data do not include trader-specific leverage, account margin balances or planned exits. Liquidation estimates also depend on margin terms and the funds available to an account.
