Eligible New Jersey customers can stake qualifying crypto on Coinbase again, the company said Tuesday.

In a post on X Tuesday, Coinbase said eligible customers in the state can stake again. Its post set 12% as the highest annualized yield it cited, but the ceiling does not apply to every eligible asset. Annualized yield expresses a rate over a year; it is not a fixed dollar payment.

After New Jersey ended limits on Coinbase staking and withdrew a $5 million penalty, Coinbase announced it was restoring access, as detailed in EconoTimes' earlier coverage. The penalty was withdrawn without prejudice.

The company previously gave no restart date, saying only that service would return “very soon.” The announcement confirms the service is back for eligible customers, while the maximum listed yield remains a ceiling rather than a rate guaranteed across the platform.
