Coinbase's signup page describes ways for customers to direct AI-agent activity in stock and cryptocurrency trading through their accounts, with customer-set limits defining the permitted scope.

Customers can frame trades around a preset strategy or give directions in everyday language, according to the page. It covers stocks as well as cryptocurrencies.

Coinbase for Agents was introduced June 11, 2026; in the U.S., agents can use a customer's Coinbase balance to make capped USD Coin (USDC) payments for market data. Users set limits on that activity as well as trading.
