Metals gained further as dollar turned negative and yields dropped. Performance this week at a glance in chart & table -

  • Gold -Gold so far failed to break above $1200 level amid weaker dollar. Gold is currently trading at $1198/troy ounce. Immediate support lies at 1178, 1160, 1144 and resistance at 1205, 1224.

  • Silver - Silver is trying to close above previous month's close. It is top performer today and this week. Mint ratio is at 70.18, down 0.28% today. Silver is currently trading at $17.05/troy ounce. Support lies at 15.42,14 & resistance at 17.5-17.7.
     
  • Copper - Copper didn't move much in today's trading, traded within intraday range of 2.77-2.81. Chinese slowdown is weighing on price. Copper is trading at $2.79/pound. Immediate support lies at 2.74, 2.59 & resistance at 2.93, 3.07.
