Metals failed to gain ground over weaker Dollar. Performance this week at a glance in chart & table -

Gold -

  • Gold found support around $1080 once more, however failed to clear above $1100 area. Today's range - $1099-$1082.
  • Gold is likely to range trade with downside bias, however a sustained push below $1050 seems unlikely.
  • Gold is currently trading at $1094/troy ounce. Immediate support lies at $1060 and resistance at $1120 area.

Silver -

  • Silver is much better performer than gold today, however silver is struggling to clear resistance around $15 area. Today's range $15.03-14.6
  • Silver is currently trading at $14.94/troy ounce. Support lies at $14 & resistance at $16. $15 is likely to pose interim resistance.

Copper -

  • Copper dropped further towards $2.3 area, $2.35 is posing as resistance. Today's range $2.35-2.31.
  • Next target is around $2.24.
  • Copper is currently trading at $2.33/pound, immediate support lies at, $2.2 & resistance at $2.65.
