Copenhagen Airports A/S has named Sofie Mørck Jarl its next chief financial officer, with her appointment taking effect no later than March 1, 2027, as the airport prepares for major investment and development.

Copenhagen Airports said Oct. 28 that Jarl will succeed Rasmus Lund, who died in July. At Novo, Jarl is a group vice president responsible for finance and business support across the global production organization, with a remit that includes strategy and financial management. She previously was CFO of Novo Nordisk Engineering A/S.

Copenhagen Airports CEO Christian Poulsen said Jarl's finance and strategy background, plus her work on large investments, complex projects and business development, matched the airport's needs. He said she would join the company's Executive Leadership Team.

Jarl said Copenhagen Airport holds “a very special role for Denmark.” She said she was eager to take up the CFO post and help advance the airport's development. Her appointment is effective no later than March 1, 2027.
