Copper futures on the London Metal Exchange fell Tuesday as appetite for risk weakened during the session, raising uncertainty around demand for the industrial metal.

Prices fell below $14,000 per metric ton, with session losses reaching 3.2%.

Technology shares also declined during the session.

That parallel decline reinforced uncertainty around future demand for copper.
