Palm Desert, CA, Jan. 11, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cord Media Company, a full-service agency specializing in creative services, media, integrated marketing and branding, is pleased to announce they have earned nine prestigious Davey Awards from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA).
Both The Living Desert’s integrated marketing campaign for the park’s “Zoorassic” show and Cord Media’s own promotional short reel highlighting clients and agency services, received top honors with gold Davey Awards.
Cord Media also garnered several silver awards for campaigns produced for clients in one of its specialties - the gaming industry - including Hollywood Park Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino, both in Southern California, as well as two St. Croix Casinos located in Wisconsin. Creative work for Hard Rock Energy Drink, owned by the Florida-based Seminole Tribe, and Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs in California also earned silver Daveys.
The Davey Awards is an international creative award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies in the world. The 2015 Davey Awards received nearly 4,000 entries from advertising agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms and public relations firms.
“Each year we look forward to submitting our work and are thrilled when it garners awards that recognize the creativity and craftsmanship that go into each and every piece,” said Jonas Udcoff, chief executive officer at Cord Media Company. “As a team, we strive for excellence and receiving accolades such as these reinforces that notion.”
Earlier this year, Cord Media was named to Inc. Magazine’s 2015 list of 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America for a second year in a row. Cord Media also was honored with numerous other awards, including 13 Communicator Awards, four Telly Awards, three Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards and 24 American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards.
