“After successful partnerships with Volvo in previous years, we’re pleased to present this exclusive offer on a wide range of sedans, crossovers and SUVs,” said Jay Maxwell, director, strategic partnership development at Costco Auto Program. “This year’s lineup delivers vehicles that feature elegant design and premium performance.”
In 2013, a similar joint effort between Costco Auto Program and Volvo resulted in more than 7,500 vehicle sales and a 99.3 percent satisfaction rate, according to surveyed members who purchased a vehicle through the Special Offer. This year’s model lineup for A-Plan pricing and additional incentives include $750 on the 2017 and 2018 S60, V60, V90 Cross Country and XC90 models, $750 on the 2017 XC60 and $3,000 on the 2017 and 2018 S90 models. Several of these models also received the 2017 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick awards.
To receive the benefits of this offer, Costco members must:
- Have been a Costco member by July 31, 2017.
- Register by visiting CostcoAuto.com/Volvo and selecting an eligible Volvo vehicle.
- Receive an email confirmation containing a Volvo PIN to participate in the offer.
- Complete a member satisfaction survey to receive the $200 Costco Cash Card.
This offer can also be combined with most current Volvo rebates and incentives for greater savings.
This member-only incentive is part of a series of special offers Costco Auto Program plans to announce in the upcoming year. During the program’s most recent incentive with another major vehicle manufacturer, approximately 76 percent of Costco members who visited a dealership took advantage of the special offer and purchased a vehicle. Additionally, the featured vehicles resulted in interest that is nearly 10 times greater than what is typically seen through the company’s everyday program. This ongoing success and growth positions Costco Auto Program to deliver new opportunities for major auto manufacturers, while delivering additional savings exclusively to Costco members.
