Italian soccer giant AC Milan has launched NFTs on the fan engagement platform Socios.com on 31st October with 100 limited editions NFTs minted to commemorate its recent 2-1 victory over AS Roma.
The NFTs will be dropped to $ACM fan token holders.
AC Milan is the first of Chiliz’s sports partners to launch NFTs on Socios.com.
Chiliz-owned Socios.com has partnerships with over 40 soccer teams, including Barcelona, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain.
The unveiling of AC Milan's NFT comes ahead of the Chiliz Chain 2.0 launch, which will enable developers to mint NFTs and fan tokens.
