Crisil Limited’s board approved a ₹17 interim dividend and set Oct. 29 as the record date, as the company reported a 5.9% increase in quarterly profit after tax.

The payment is Crisil’s third interim dividend for the financial year ending Dec. 31, 2026. The company’s exchange filing says shareholders registered on Thursday, Oct. 29, will qualify. The board approved the payout Friday, Oct. 23.

For the three months ended Sept. 30, consolidated income from operations reached ₹1,095.2 crore, compared with ₹911.2 crore a year earlier. Profit after tax rose to ₹204.5 crore from ₹193.1 crore. Crisil’s results release labels the period Q3 2026. Consolidated total income was ₹1,120.9 crore, up 18.2%, while profit before tax increased 5.3% to ₹276.1 crore.

In the first nine months through Sept. 30, consolidated profit after tax reached ₹654.3 crore, 24.7% above the year-earlier period. Income from operations totaled ₹3,228.2 crore, up 25.7%, according to the release.

Goodreturns’ BSE-labeled price history lists Crisil shares at ₹4,748.10 on Oct. 23 and ₹4,431.75 on Oct. 9. That amounts to a 7.14% price-only increase between the two closing prices.

Managing Director and CEO Amish Mehta said, “The resilience of the Indian economy continues to support growth opportunities.” Crisil also raised its forecast for India’s GDP growth this fiscal to 7% from 6.6%, the results release said. The company expects growth to moderate in the second half as gains from GST rationalization fade, and cited a below-normal monsoon and a challenging global environment as risks.

Crisil’s dividend history lists a ₹16 third interim payment in 2025, ₹1 below the latest declaration. The exchange filing says this year’s dividend will be paid on or before Nov. 17, 2026.
