Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, a maker of fans, lights, pumps and appliances, reported 18.2% revenue growth for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, despite inflationary cost pressure.
Consolidated revenue reached ₹2,263 crore. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 24.1% from a year earlier to ₹205 crore, and the EBITDA margin was 9%, compared with 8.6%. Profit after tax was about ₹125 crore, up from about ₹75 crore.
Crompton said higher prices helped counter inflation. It also credited cost efficiencies and operating leverage, which allows earnings to grow faster than sales, for the improvement in group EBITDA.
In its standalone segment results, electrical consumer durables sales rose 19.2% to ₹1,634 crore. Lighting sales increased 14.3% to ₹298 crore. Separately reported Butterfly revenue grew 13.1% to ₹331 crore.
Lighting’s earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) margin narrowed to 12.9% from 15.5%. Crompton said an order for a business customer weighed on the segment’s profitability because its price had been set under an earlier contract.
Research credited to Anand Rathi and published by NDTV Profit maintained the brokerage’s Buy rating and assigned a ₹360 target for Crompton shares. The brokerage based the target on 30 times its estimated earnings per share for the first half of FY29. It forecast annualized profit-after-tax growth of 16.7% from FY26 through FY29.
Crompton described the results as its third consecutive quarter of double-digit growth across segments. As of Oct. 16, the company said it had installed roughly 20,000 rooftop-solar units under its AP tender, covering half of that order book.
