CrowdStrike has agreed to acquire Fiddler AI, aiming to give enterprise customers tools to test artificial intelligence agents and examine their decisions and actions within its Falcon cybersecurity platform.

CrowdStrike announced the agreement Nov. 3 but did not disclose a purchase price. CrowdStrike plans to make most of the payment in cash, with some stock subject to vesting conditions. Fiddler AI is based in Palo Alto, California.

The planned acquisition would let customers evaluate agents before deployment and trace their decisions and use of software tools after deployment. CrowdStrike intends to sell Fiddler's technology as Falcon Observe within the Falcon platform. It expects the product to become generally available in the fourth quarter of its fiscal 2027.

CrowdStrike said the tools would complement Falcon Guardian, which is designed to prevent unauthorized agent activity. Falcon Observe would help customers examine what agents did and provide evidence of their actions for audits. The company cited the risk that an agent could make a harmful decision despite having valid credentials as a reason for adding those capabilities.

The agreement follows CrowdStrike's expanded AI security partnership with CoreWeave, announced Nov. 2. The partnership will extend Falcon security services to customers using CoreWeave Cloud. CoreWeave provides its AI platform to support training and inference for CrowdStrike's SafeMind security models.

The acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions. CrowdStrike expects it to close in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2027, the same quarter in which it plans to make Falcon Observe generally available.
