Crurated, a members-only digital platform for wine enthusiasts, unveiled its groundbreaking metaverse for wine collectors. Its dive into the virtual world marks the group's blockchain-supported expedition into fine wine.
The online fine wine community said the metaverse platform offers a new spatial experience for all wine collectors. This allows them to immerse themselves deeper into the origins of wine and spirits, as per BNN Breaking.
Crurated Wine and Spirits Community
The top fine wine community was named "Crurated," and it was explained that this was formed by combining two words: "Cru," which is a name for superior wine, and "Curation, " which means studying the age-old culture and history of wines.
The community introduced the first real-world asset metaverse for wines, backed by blockchain. This cutting-edge platform was especially designed for people who love wine, from all generations.
On this metaverse, members can walk into the beginnings of wine, and they have a unique space in the virtual world where they can show off their most cherished wines. This allows people to increase their knowledge about spirits while guiding other people in viewing fine wine collections in hyper-realistic 3D space.
Wine with NFT
All the bottles that the members owned in the metaverse are certified with a non-fungible token or NFT. Crurated's digital world is being powered by Unreal Engine 5. In any case, this is the world's first blockchain-based community dedicated to wines and spirits.
"We want to nurture the passion of Collectors, support them in a way that hasn't been done before - all our technological developments point in that direction," Alfonso de Gaetano, Founder, Crurated, said in a press release. "Our metaverse is the first step in giving Collectors an immersive, engaging experience, an alternative to a list of wines on a spreadsheet."
