Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear and Greed Index stayed in the greed category as its score rose from 63 on Oct. 21 to 68 on Oct. 22. The index measured 63 on Oct. 21 after a 55 reading in the greed category on Oct. 20. All three readings carried the same label.
An EconoTimes update on Oct. 21 said the gauge had last posted a neutral score of 53 on Oct. 17.
The measure covers French tax-resident individuals who swap crypto for e-money tokens under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) rules. If enacted, it would take effect Jan. 1, 2027.
The proposed fund would use call spreads linked to IBIT and/or similar bitcoin exposure, with fixed-income investments intended to help offset option costs.
BUIDL had $2.202 billion in distributed value on Oct. 9, and its shares can go only to pre-approved investors.
