Last week, large crypto investors, known as whales, were very active in buying three main altcoins: Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), and Ripple (XRP).
Dogecoin (DOGE)
Whales bought about $636 million worth of DOGE, causing its price to skyrocket by 85%. This surge helped DOGE surpass XRP in market capitalization, boosted by positive news involving Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
Litecoin (LTC)
Investors accumulated around $106 million in LTC, raising their total from 6.33 million to 7.57 million coins. As a result, Litecoin's price increased by 20%, and it's now trading at about $85.87. If the buying continues, analysts say LTC could hit $100 soon.
Ripple (XRP)
Whales bought around 310 million XRP, worth about $267 million, which led to a 56% price jump, bringing XRP to approximately $0.87. Interest in XRP grew after Robinhood listed the token and hopes for clearer regulations in the U.S.
In summary, the buying activity by whales shows strong confidence in these altcoins, suggesting they believe in their potential for future growth.
