Leading cryptocurrency exchange startup Coinbase last week bid its farewell to GDAX exchange, which has been replaced by Coinbase Pro.
Today we say goodbye to GDAX and hello to Coinbase Pro. Coinbase Pro is live and ready to start using now. https://t.co/UKGaehZdp8

Coinbase describes the new platform as an “evolution” of GDAX. First announced in May, Coinbase Pro is a platform specifically designed for individual crypto traders.
“Coinbase Pro is a new interface built on top of the existing GDAX trading engine that has been designed with the needs of the active trader in mind,” it said.
Users trying to access GDAX.com would now be redirected to Coinbase Pro. While GDAX APIs will continue to function until December 31, 2018, Coinbase is urging users to begin migrating their API usage to api.pro.coinbase.com.
