Cyient Limited reported 25.5% year-over-year growth in group operating revenue to ₹2,235 crore for the July-September quarter, as its normalized group EBIT margin rose to 10.2%.

The quarter ended Sept. 30, and Cyient announced its results on Oct. 22. Revenue was ₹2,075.7 crore in Q1 FY27 and ₹1,781 crore in Q2 FY26, according to the company’s investor presentation.

Normalized group earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) totaled ₹228.4 crore, compared with ₹201.2 crore in Q1 FY27. The normalized margin was 9.7% in the previous quarter and 9.4% a year earlier. Cyient cautioned that the presentation’s internal management reporting figures may differ from its statutory financial statements.

The presentation put profit after tax, minority interests and the share of associate profit at ₹121.4 crore. That was up 16.6% from ₹104.1 crore in Q1 FY27 but down 4.8% from ₹127.5 crore in Q2 FY26. Q1 included a ₹10-crore post-tax exceptional item; on a normalized basis, the comparable Q1 figure was ₹114.1 crore.

The Digital, Engineering and Technology segment reported revenue of ₹1,664 crore, up 15.7% year over year and 8.1% quarter over quarter. Organic growth was 9.3% year over year and 2.1% sequentially. Segment EBIT reached ₹237 crore, with a 14.2% margin, the company said.

Cyient said overall order intake increased 20.8% year over year. Its press release also reported a record order book at Cyient DLM, with book-to-bill above 1.6x.

The company said its semiconductor business grew revenue 8% sequentially for a sixth consecutive quarter and cited an ASIC pipeline worth more than $100 million. Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Krishna Bodanapu identified defense, semiconductors and AI as growth opportunities. Cyient cautioned that limited semiconductor supply could slow growth and pressure margins, while investment in sales and strategic capabilities affects near-term margins. It also declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per share.
