Dabur and Emami are scheduled to consider September-quarter results this week, as one brokerage forecast faster sales growth at Emami and a stronger adjusted-profit increase at Dabur.
HDFC Securities estimates Emami’s revenue will rise 20% year over year and adjusted profit after tax (PAT) will increase 4% for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026. For Dabur, the brokerage forecasts 11% revenue growth and 9% growth in adjusted PAT. These estimates come from one brokerage and are not a market consensus.
Dabur’s Oct. 6 exchange-filed update gave a separate company outlook, projecting double-digit growth in consolidated revenue and PAT for the same quarter. Its double-digit PAT projection and HDFC Securities’ 9% adjusted-PAT estimate use measures described on different bases, so the percentages are not directly comparable.
Dabur’s update described operating conditions shaped by commodity inflation, tensions in the Middle East and deficit rainfall. The company said input-cost pressures hurt margins, while price increases and cost-saving steps cushioned some of the impact. Dabur also reported steady demand during the period.
For the fast-moving consumer goods sector, HDFC Securities sees easier comparisons with the year-earlier quarter and selective price increases supporting revenue, while higher raw-material costs weigh on margins. Mint reported Nov. 1 that HDFC Securities forecast Emami’s gross margin at 67.3%, down 380 basis points year over year, and its EBITDA margin at 20%, down 240 basis points. For Dabur, Mint reported forecasts of a 48% gross margin, down 140 basis points, and an EBITDA margin of about 18%, down 50 basis points.
Dabur’s board is scheduled to meet Wednesday, Nov. 4, and Emami’s Thursday, Nov. 5. Both notices say directors will consider unaudited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter and half year ended Sept. 30, 2026. Each agenda also includes an interim dividend for FY27, but neither filing confirms a payout or specifies an amount.
