Danske Bank A/S has spent DKK 3.39 billion on share repurchases under a DKK 4.5 billion program, while APMH Invest A/S continues to sell shares in proportion to the bank’s purchases.

The bank’s Oct. 19 transaction notice lists an attachment for an Oct. 15 sale by APMH Invest. Danske Bank said APMH Invest sells shares proportionately during the buyback. A transaction form published by the bank identifies APMH Invest as closely associated with Danske Bank Vice Chairman Martin Nørkjær Larsen. The notice was issued under European Union market abuse rules.

In a separate buyback update, Danske Bank said it purchased 228,158 of its own shares for DKK 80.3 million on Oct. 15. Its purchases for the week through Oct. 16 totaled 345,147 shares for DKK 121.9 million, bringing the program total to 9,913,717 shares for DKK 3.39 billion.

Danske Bank announced the program on Feb. 5. It permits purchases of up to 45 million shares within the DKK 4.5 billion spending limit. The bank set Jan. 29, 2027, as the latest date for completing it.
