Darling Ingredients will report quarterly results Wednesday with its fiscal 2026 combined adjusted EBITDA outlook already set at $2.2 billion to $2.3 billion, a measure that includes its share of a renewable diesel joint venture’s adjusted EBITDA.
Darling announced the range Oct. 22. It said its business fundamentals were strong and operating momentum was favorable as it entered the fourth quarter. The scheduled update will give the company a chance to report its third-quarter performance against that annual target. Results are expected after market close Wednesday, Oct. 28, with a conference call planned for 9 a.m. ET Thursday, Oct. 29.
Darling’s combined calculation adds its adjusted EBITDA to its share of Diamond Green Diesel’s adjusted EBITDA. Diamond Green Diesel (DGD) is Darling’s 50/50 joint venture. Darling says the figure is not calculated under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The company said uncertainty around commodity prices and foreign-exchange movements prevents it from reconciling the forward range to a net-income outlook.
Separately, DGD reported net income of $340.936 million for the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with a net loss of $80.561 million in the year-earlier quarter. These are DGD’s net income figures; Darling’s $2.2 billion to $2.3 billion target is a combined adjusted EBITDA outlook for Darling and its share of the venture’s adjusted EBITDA. The figures describe different measures and periods.
Darling Chairman and CEO Randall C. Stuewe linked DGD’s quarterly performance in part to when renewable diesel sales and some commercial activities took place. He said Darling expects those timing effects to help the venture’s fourth-quarter results. The company’s report after Wednesday’s market close and its following-day call are the next scheduled updates.
