The Death Penalty Information Center's execution database marks three executions across Indiana, Florida and Alabama as the second day this year with three U.S. executions.
The database names Jeffrey A. Weisheit in Indiana, Jesse Guardado in Florida and Michael Shannon Taylor in Alabama.
The Florida Department of Corrections said Guardado's sentence was carried out at 6:13 p.m. ET.
Gov. Kay Ivey said the commutation did not establish Johnson’s innocence. His lawyers are still seeking a new trial.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said it would provide further information as it became available.
