DeFi total value locked (TVL) fell to $87.8 billion on Oct. 26, while Morpho’s weekly increase contrasted with declines at Lido and weaker activity across decentralized exchanges and perpetual futures.

TVL was down about 1.8% in 24 hours. Morpho climbed by about $304 million over seven days to roughly $11.4 billion, while Lido lost about $790 million over that span to reach $22.6 billion. Lido remained the largest protocol by TVL.

Aave stood at about $17.6 billion on Oct. 26, down from roughly $19.1 billion at September’s end. That comparison covers a longer period than the seven-day changes for Morpho and Lido. Decentralized exchanges recorded about $44.1 billion in volume over seven days, more than 12% lower than the previous week, while perpetual futures activity fell about 8.6%.

TVL reports the marked dollar worth of assets counted by protocols at a particular time. The 24-hour total reflects both token balances and their dollar prices, so it cannot alone establish whether users withdrew funds. The distinction is discussed in EconoTimes’ earlier coverage of TVL rankings and user flows.
