Dow Jones Media Group’s financial news portal MarketWatch has announced that it will start tracking eight more cryptocurrencies, CoinDesk reported.
The company announced today that it will track the market movement of Ether (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Ether Classic (ETC), Monero (XMR), Dash (DASH), and zcash (ZEC). MarketWatch started tracking bitcoin price back in 2014.
Using data from Kraken cryptocurrency exchange, MarketWatch will now display real-time quotes for the price movements of nine cryptocurrencies.
"It's no doubt that our readers, as the world's savviest investors, have an eye on digital currency and we're happy to be expanding our real-time tracking of a total of 9 cryptocurrencies in both Euro's and USD, with Kraken's help," Dan Shar, general manager at MarketWatch, said in a statement.
The announcement comes on the heels of the recent partnership with Dow Jones Media Group and Brave Software aimed at bringing premium content to new audiences and test blockchain technology usage in digital publishing. Dow Jones Media Group’s financial news portals – Barrons.com or MarketWatch – will become verified publishers, the company had said.
