“Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 19 concludes the Universal Conflict arc. In fact, the title for this story is called “Ultimate Conclusion! The Universal Conflict Ends!”

Is this the last episode?

There are reports that say episode 20 is still coming to officially end the exciting arc, but based on the synopsis of “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 19 that was posted by DBSChronicles on Twitter, this is already the last story for this arc. The plot summary simply reads: "Hearts attacks, Gogeta intercepts! What will be the fate of the universe after this fierce fight ends!?”

The synopsis suggests that “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 19 is the finale and will reveal who won in the battle between Gogeta and Hearts the Godslayer. The two have been fighting since episode 17 when Hearts transformed into his strongest version, and by taking two full episodes of the battle, it is surely time to end the battle.

The Universal Conflict arc synopsis

As translated by a fan account called Cipher, the full synopsis for this arc reveals how the ultimate battles between good and evil begun. It follows the story of the first arc titled “Prison Planet.” The prison planet exploded, and the strongest and most evil warriors sealed in it were released.

Now, they have set out to carry out their plan of overthrowing everyone and destroy the universe. This was how Goku and the rest had to fight the villains and save the universe from their evil deeds.

In the previous episode, Goku and Vegeta fused together as they realized that the powers of the Z fighters are not enough to defeat the powerful Hearts. The ultimate battle between Gogeta and Hearts will determine the fate of the universe, but it is yet to see who will emerge victorious in “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 19.

Release date

“Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 19 is arriving on Jan. 9, 2020, as posted on Dragon Ball Fandom. Hopefully, there will be no changes in the schedule as it appears there is no definite schedule as to when the episodes are released. It should also be noted that the given date above is the set airdate in Japan, so the English subbed or dubbed will still come out later.
