The Anaheim Ducks overcame a two-goal deficit to beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-4 on Oct. 24, with Leo Carlsson scoring and assisting on the winner, ESPN reported.
The Ducks won against a Philadelphia team that tried to sign Carlsson away from Anaheim last summer. Carlsson finished with a goal and an assist on the deciding goal.
Anaheim improved its record to 5-6-0, while Philadelphia fell to 3-7-3. The teams played at Xfinity Mobile Arena before an attendance of 19,336.
In the other completed NHL game on Oct. 24, the New Jersey Devils beat the Los Angeles Kings 3-1 at Prudential Center. The victory extended New Jersey's winning streak to three games.
Brett Pesce scored the go-ahead goal for the Devils, and goaltender Jake Allen made 12 saves, ESPN reported.
New Jersey improved to 7-4-0 with the win, while Los Angeles fell to 2-5-2. Attendance at Prudential Center was 16,019.

For New Jersey, the result against Los Angeles added another victory to the winning streak that reached three games with the game at Prudential Center. Pesce provided the goal that put the Devils ahead, while Allen's contribution in goal included the 12 saves reported by ESPN.
The Devils finished their game against the Kings with three goals, while Los Angeles finished with one. That 3-1 result left New Jersey with a 7-4-0 record and the Kings with a 2-5-2 record after their meeting on Oct. 24.
The two completed games on Oct. 24 therefore ended with victories for Anaheim and New Jersey.
