Authum Investment & Infrastructure Limited rose 10.40% on Nov. 5, leading three other Nifty 500 stocks in an RSI screen that ETMarkets reported but whose fourth member fell short of the outlet’s stated 8% gain claim.

5paisa listed Authum’s closing price at ₹569.60. Geojit put Piramal Finance Limited at ₹2,119.60, up 8.91%; Moneycontrol listed Devyani International Limited at ₹129.21, up 8.87%. ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited closed at ₹2,309.10, a 7.97% increase, according to StockAnalysis historical data.

ETMarkets reported that all four stocks appeared in StockEdge’s “RSI Trending Up” scan for the Nov. 5 Indian trading session. The outlet said each stock’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) reading moved above 50 from a lower level. It listed Authum at 61.36, compared with 47.10 previously; Piramal at 60.44, versus 47.95; Devyani at 58.93, versus 39.12; and ZF at 62.19, compared with 42.50. Those scan results and prior readings are attributed to ETMarkets.

The RSI figures are momentum readings, separate from each share’s daily percentage change. Closing data show that three stocks gained more than 8%; ZF’s 7.97% rise did not meet ETMarkets’ description that all four exceeded that mark.

StockEdge’s guide describes RSI as a technical gauge of share-price momentum and treats a move above 50 from below as a bullish signal. The company describes its application as end-of-day and says indicator values update at the end of the day.

ETMarkets published its report on Nov. 6 and did not identify a company-specific catalyst for the stocks’ gains. EconoTimes previously covered a similar Nifty 500 RSI screen for Oct. 23.
