The November distribution for Eaton Vance Short Duration Diversified Income Fund (EVG) is $0.0713 per share.

Eaton Vance announced the increase Nov. 2. The new amount is 0.28% higher than October’s $0.0711 distribution. Nov. 16 is both the record date and the ex-dividend date. Shareholders of record that day qualify for the payment; purchases made on or after Nov. 16 do not. Payment is scheduled for Nov. 30.

The fund reported an 8.10% distribution rate calculated against its market price, using a closing share price of $10.56 on Oct. 30. That percentage should not be read as an income figure, a yield measure or an indication of investment performance.

EVG’s policy aims to keep monthly payments steady, though a distribution may include a return of capital and reduce the fund’s net asset value. The fund determines the payment’s tax treatment after the calendar year ends.
