In a Sunday update, Echelon said it had restored website access and that the incident left its smart contracts unaffected.

Echelon’s team identified Name.com DNS as the destination of the nameserver switch. Vercel had handled the domain before its nameserver traffic was routed to Name.com. People who typed Echelon’s web address reached an unapproved site.

On Saturday, Oct. 31, the company flagged a risk that its web address could lead visitors to an unofficial site. Echelon’s Sunday update said the site was accessible again and domain resolution was working normally. Echelon says it operates a modular money market.
