The Economic Times said fund stakes rose in 203 BSE 500 companies and highlighted 10 stocks from that group with fiscal 2027 gains of 59% to 129%.

Its Oct. 21 screen, based on ACE Equity data, put the number of companies with September-quarter filings at about 351. Mutual fund stakes were higher in 203. The outlet reported that shares of 47 companies in that group gained more than 30% in FY27.

In that screen, Cemindia Projects topped the return list at 129%, followed by Aditya Infotech at 123% and Aegis Logistics at 122%. The other seven were Redington, up 86%; Gland Pharma Limited, up 78%; One 97 Communications Limited, up 75%; Finolex Cables, up 65%; Meesho, up 63%; Adani Green Energy, up 61%; and Craftsman Automation, up 59%.

Gland Pharma Limited's filings show mutual funds held 29.52% of its shares at Sept. 30, up from 28.23% at June 30. The September filing listed 48,714,045 fund-held shares, compared with 46,573,490 at the prior quarter end. One 97 Communications Limited, which operates Paytm, reported a 21.17% mutual fund stake at Sept. 30, representing 135,809,983 shares. MarketsMojo put its June stake at 17.94%.

Trendlyne's historical table put Aditya Infotech's mutual fund stake at 13.57% on Sept. 30, up from 11.73% on June 30. It assigned a 13.27% figure to a separate Sept. 25 filing.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India requires main-board listed companies to file quarterly shareholding patterns within 21 days of quarter-end. These are snapshots of holdings at quarter-end; they do not show when funds traded, identify who sold shares or establish that fund buying drove the stock gains.

The board of One 97 Communications Limited is scheduled to consider and approve its unaudited September-quarter results Monday, Oct. 26. Its earnings call is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 6:15 to 7 a.m. EDT (3:45 to 4:30 p.m. IST).
