Eicher Motors shares ended October 0.98% above their September close, giving investors a month-on-month gain based on the latest completed sessions on India's stock market.
The shares closed at ₹7,220 on Oct. 30, compared with ₹7,150 on Sept. 30. The ₹70 increase works out to 0.979%, rounded to 0.98%. On Oct. 30, the stock was down ₹18, or 0.25%, from its Oct. 29 close of ₹7,238, according to historical price data. The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) lists the Oct. 30 final bhavcopy, its daily market file, as the official session record.
The Economic Times' liveblog showed the monthly return at 10:25 p.m. EST Nov. 1 (03:25 UTC Nov. 2), equivalent to 8:55 a.m. IST Nov. 2. That was five minutes before the NSE's pre-open session and 20 minutes before regular trading, so the figure reflected completed sessions rather than Nov. 2 trading.
Separately, Eicher Motors said in a Nov. 1 filing that Royal Enfield sold 133,442 motorcycles in October 2026, up 7% from 124,951 a year earlier. Domestic sales rose 4% to 121,527 motorcycles, while exports increased 47% to 11,915. September and October sales together totaled 267,400 during the festive season.
Eicher Motors Managing Director and Royal Enfield Chief Executive Officer B. Govindarajan called the period an “exceptional festive season.” He said riders' continued choice of the brand contributed to its best-ever festive performance and that Royal Enfield was ramping up production to meet demand.
Eicher Motors also reported that VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), its unlisted subsidiary, sold 10,861 vehicles in October, up 34.9% from a year earlier, in a separate commercial-vehicle sales report.
