Eight large US listed companies filed notices covering operating results and financial condition between Oct. 27 and Oct. 30, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filing entries.
Meta Platforms separately filed an entry covering a material definitive agreement. The entries covered nine companies within a group of 24 large US listed companies and financial institutions examined for the four days.
Chevron filed its Form 8-K on Oct. 30 under Item 2.02, the designation for results of operations and financial condition. Its entry was the only one dated Oct. 30 among the nine companies with filings.
Amazon, Eli Lilly, Coinbase and Intel each filed a Form 8-K under Item 2.02 on Oct. 29. The entries identified the subject of their filings but supplied no revenue, net income or earnings-per-share figures.
Microsoft and Alphabet each filed a Form 8-K under Item 2.02 on Oct. 28. Visa filed under the same item on Oct. 27, the first day of the period examined.
Meta filed its Form 8-K on Oct. 29 under Item 1.01, the designation for entry into a material definitive agreement. The entry supplied no counterparty, financial terms or description of the agreement.
No exhibit text accompanied any of the nine entries. The entries therefore provided no basis for reporting the companies' financial results, the periods those results covered or changes from earlier periods.
