Eight of 11 U.S.-listed crypto-linked stocks finished lower Oct. 19, even as BNB Standard Corporation (BNC) rose 4.01%, contrasting with an earlier market update that showed broad gains.

An EconoTimes comparison of the 11 stocks using closing price data credited to S&P Global Market Intelligence found three gainers. IREN Limited (IREN) rose 2.74% and CleanSpark (CLSK) gained 0.71%, joining BNC. Among the decliners, Coinbase (COIN) fell 2.72%, MARA Holdings (MARA) lost 2.06% and Hyperliquid Strategies Inc. (PURR) declined 1.10%.

The earlier update, published at 2:20 p.m. ET, counted 10 stocks rising. The earlier update put BNC and MARA at the top of the group, while PURR showed a small decline. Those figures were reported before the 4 p.m. ET U.S. close and differ from the closing returns.

BNB Standard changed its name from CEA Industries Inc. effective Sept. 29, according to a company filing with the SEC. In an Oct. 19 announcement filed with the SEC, the company said it had appointed Alex Odagiu CEO and plans to operate a validator on BNB Chain. It described the plan as a way to increase its BNB holdings per share and build an operating business, while cautioning that validator rewards vary and are not guaranteed.

The company gave no launch date. After the validator goes live on mainnet, the company plans to publish updates on its treasury dashboard.
