DXC Technology and Eldridge Industries are in advanced talks over a possible $2.4 billion sale of DXC’s insurance unit, with Eldridge considering a combination with Zinnia, Reuters reported Monday, citing people familiar with the talks.

Eldridge, a private investment firm, is also considering combining the DXC unit with Zinnia, its insurance technology platform. The purchase and possible combination remain under discussion. The $2.4 billion figure is a proposed sale price; the transaction has not been completed.

In a separate insurance software transaction, CCC Intelligent Solutions has agreed to a $6.1 billion sale to a group led by GTCR. CCC develops technology for property and casualty insurers, including the auto insurance industry. The DXC and Eldridge discussions have yet to produce a completed deal.
