TAMPA, Fla., July 17, 2017 -- Engage Behavioral Health, a leading healthcare organization offering unique Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and related disabilities, today announced the grand opening event for the Wesley Chapel clinic. The event will take place on Saturday, August 5th from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and will offer presentations from Engage Behavioral Health’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Phelps and its highly trained, qualified clinicians. Presentations will include three sessions offered throughout the day about toilet training, feeding therapy, social skills, and more. Each will be accompanied by a tour of the clinic and a welcome message from Phelps.
“Engage Behavioral Health is dedicated to helping children with autism and other related disabilities get the therapy and treatment they need to develop and progress,” said Phelps. “Opening a third clinic in the Tampa Bay area will enable us to help more children and families in need. At the grand opening, we are excited to offer parents education and training that they will be able to immediately apply in the home. We look forward to sharing our unique ABA therapy and the new facility in Wesley Chapel on August 5th.”
Founded in 2008 by Phelps, Engage Behavioral Health offers quality care for those with developmental disabilities, leveraging the most effective therapies that are customized for each individual need. As owner and president, Phelps specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. With the support of a dedicated clinical team, Phelps has grown Engage Behavioral Health to more than 100 employees. Phelps earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a specialty in ABA, from the University of South Florida. She also holds a master’s degree in ABA from Florida State University.
Engage Behavioral Health is an organization that has a proven track record of success and effectiveness offered through the therapies provided by the company’s team of clinicians.
“Engage Behavioral Health has been in our life for the past six years, and they have been amazing every step of the way,” said Heather Cazzola, mom to Corbyn Cazzola who receives regular therapy at Engage Behavioral Health. “The progress Corbyn has made is life-changing. He can sing his ABCs, gets ready on his own in the morning, and he can better communicate about what he wants, needs, and how he is feeling. This would never have happened without Engage Behavioral Health.”
