Equifax and Hasbro shares climbed more than 11% on Oct. 20 following quarterly earnings reports, while the Nasdaq Composite edged lower and the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced.

Equifax Inc. closed at $176.54, up 11.33%, and Hasbro rose 11.20% to $109.52. Shares of 3M increased 5.78% to $171.37, while KeyCorp added 4.47% to $20.81.

The Dow gained 529.85 points to 52,495.88, and the Russell 2000 advanced 45.12 points to 2,773.42. The Nasdaq lost 6.07 points to 26,424.82. The stock moves followed contrasting full-year outlooks from Equifax, Hasbro and 3M.

Equifax reported $1.69 billion in third-quarter revenue, up 10% from a year earlier, and adjusted earnings of $2.26 a share, up 11%. It reduced the midpoint of its 2026 revenue forecast to $6.661 billion. Mortgage-related revenue rose 15% during the quarter, but Equifax said higher interest rates weakened the U.S. mortgage market later in the period.

Hasbro posted $1.595 billion in quarterly revenue, a 15% increase, including $616.1 million from Magic: The Gathering, up 34%. The company raised its 2026 revenue growth outlook in constant currency to 7% to 9%, from 5% to 7%. Its results also included about $55 million in tariff refunds that benefited operating profit.

3M reported sales of $6.6 billion, up 1%, and raised its 2026 adjusted earnings forecast to $9.10 to $9.15 a share. Its Amazon agreement covers optical connectivity and other data center products. Under a warrant, Amazon could acquire up to 3.2 million 3M shares if conditions are met, including a $6 billion cumulative sales milestone over seven years.

KeyCorp reported record quarterly revenue of $2.044 billion, up 8.4% from a year earlier. Net income from continuing operations attributable to common shareholders reached $537 million, or $0.51 per diluted share. The bank said average deposits rose $3.6 billion from the previous quarter, while its net interest margin increased 20 basis points from a year earlier to 2.95%.
