Equirus announced 16 Diwali stock ideas with targets through December 2027, while media reports differ on projected gains and the company’s public post does not list individual selections.

Equirus’ LinkedIn post describes ideas across large-, mid- and small-cap companies and sets the target-price horizon through December 2027. It does not name the stocks or give individual prices. The detailed selections and estimates come from reports by LiveMint and Financial Express.

LiveMint’s list includes HDFC Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Equitas Small Finance Bank and Voltas. Its roster moves from banks and lenders to automakers and industrial businesses, with additional names in infrastructure, energy and consumer industries.

The largest upside figure in LiveMint’s article body is 73% for Regaal Resources, based on a ₹156 target against a reported ₹90 market price. The article’s headline says potential upside reaches “up to 54%,” creating a mismatch within LiveMint’s own report.

The outlets also differ on Time Technoplast: LiveMint gives a 58% estimate against a ₹275 target, while Financial Express reports 53.6% for the same target. LiveMint also puts Antelopus Selan Energy’s potential upside at 54%. For MAS Financial Services, LiveMint reports a 65% estimate and Financial Express gives 65.3%, both against a ₹450 target.

The reported portfolio count varies as well. Equirus says it has 16 ideas, while Financial Express describes its five highlighted recommendations as the highest-upside picks among 15. The difference is unresolved in the reports. LiveMint linked the selection to credit growth, financial inclusion, formalized savings, domestic consumption, infrastructure development and manufacturing investment.

EconoTimes has also covered SBI Securities’ Diwali stock picks. India’s National Stock Exchange lists the Diwali Laxmi Pujan trading session for Sunday, Nov. 8, with trading hours to be announced separately.
