Autocar Professional reported that Escorts Kubota will increase prices for Kubota, Farmtrac and Powertrac tractors after the festive season in November 2026. The Economic Times also reported a coming increase; both outlets attributed the plan to the company.
The reports say the adjustment will differ by model, variant and geography. Autocar Professional reported that customers can ask dealers for the price applicable to each model. Neither report gave the size of the increase or an exact date when it will take effect.
The reports linked the decision to inflation, geopolitical uncertainty and higher expenses for raw materials, energy, logistics and manufacturing. Escorts Kubota said cost controls and efficiency measures had absorbed a substantial share of the added expenses. The company said the planned revision would recoup only part of its higher production and operating costs.
The Economic Times linked the decision to cost pressures from the war in Iran. The company’s reported explanation cited geopolitical uncertainty without naming a conflict. Buyers may therefore absorb some of the added costs through higher prices, an inference from the company’s stated aim; the reports do not quantify the effect or how costs will be divided.
In a filing on Aug. 11, 2026, Escorts Kubota told exchanges it would increase tractor prices across its brands that month. The filing said the amount and effective date could differ by brand, model, variant and geography.
The National Stock Exchange of India lists a board meeting for Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, to consider results for the quarter and half-year ended Sept. 30. The listed agenda does not mention tractor pricing.
