EssilorLuxottica's direct-to-consumer revenue rose 10.6% at constant exchange rates in the third quarter, more than triple the growth rate of its professional business as the eyewear group's overall sales climbed.
Professional Solutions revenue increased 3.4% on the same basis, the company said Tuesday. The segment had recorded double-digit growth a year earlier. Comparable-store sales within Direct to Consumer rose 6.8%.
Total third-quarter revenue reached €7.486 billion, a 9% increase at current exchange rates. Stripping out currency movements, the gain was 7.2%. Every region contributed to growth. The Asia-Pacific business posted a double-digit increase, as did Direct to Consumer across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, both at constant exchange rates.
For the first nine months of 2026, EssilorLuxottica reported €22.304 billion in revenue. That was 6.8% higher at current exchange rates and 8.9% higher at constant rates than a year earlier.
The company's myopia management portfolio grew 24% at constant exchange rates in both the quarter and the nine-month period. Its traditional eyecare and medical technology activities grew more than 6% on the same basis over each period.
EssilorLuxottica also reported a 20% increase in third-quarter wearables revenue at constant exchange rates. The category includes AI glasses and Nuance Audio products, as detailed in earlier coverage of its wearables growth. Nuance Audio Plus launched in mid-September; company executives pointed to its continuing rollout and new AI glasses launches ahead of the holiday season.
