The approaching crypto-options expiry divides sharply between contract count and stated value: Ether (ETH) has more contracts, while Bitcoin (BTC) accounts for most of the $11.23 billion total.
Bitcoin options represent $10.48 billion in stated notional value, while Ether options represent $750 million. The expiry includes about 346,000 Ether contracts and 134,000 Bitcoin contracts, giving Ether roughly 2.6 times Bitcoin's count. Bitcoin's stated notional value is about 14 times Ether's.
The put/call readings are 0.53 for Bitcoin and 0.73 for Ether. Their respective maximum-pain prices are $78,000 and $2,400. A separate earlier Bitcoin options expiry had $1.28 billion in stated notional value and an $82,000 maximum-pain price.
