Coinglass data for Oct. 15 showed a rise in the USD-margined long-account share for Ether (ETH) alongside declines in long-position shares for Ether and Dogecoin (DOGE), leaving the futures readings mixed across measures.

Ether’s USD-margined long-account share was 72.39%, 6.59 percentage points above the previous day. Its long-position share was 58.65%, down 2.02 percentage points.

Dogecoin’s USD-margined long-position share was 69.82%, down 6.06 percentage points from a day earlier. In the USD-margined account data, Bitcoin (BTC) stood at 64.77%, up 6.41 percentage points, and Solana (SOL) reached 74.57%, a 2.37-percentage-point increase.

The highest fifth of traders by margin balance makes up Coinglass’s top-trader group. Futures positions may hedge spot holdings, which can complicate a directional reading.
