Coinglass data put Ether (ETH) options volume at $1.09 billion for the 24 hours through Nov. 3, with Bybit’s $4,500 call leading contract activity and showing where trading was concentrated.
Open interest was $5.44 billion in the Nov. 3 snapshot, recorded at 7:06 a.m. ET (12:06 UTC). That was 0.27% below the previous reading of $5.45 billion.
Calls represented 61.72% of open interest, while puts made up 38.28%. Calls accounted for 60.35% of 24-hour volume, compared with 39.65% for puts.
Bybit’s $4,500 call expiring Nov. 6 ranked first by volume. An OKX $2,350 call expiring Nov. 4 placed second, followed by Binance’s $2,600 call expiring Nov. 6. Deribit’s $3,200 and $2,200 calls, both expiring Dec. 25, had the largest open interest, followed by its $2,000 put expiring Nov. 13.
Open interest counts options positions that remain active; trading volume tracks contracts exchanged during a period. The percentages show how calls and puts divide across open interest and trading volume, but they do not reveal traders’ purpose.
In EconoTimes’ Nov. 2 Ether options report, an OKX $2,350 call expiring Nov. 3 led the volume table. The earliest expiry among the three top-volume contracts in the latest snapshot is the OKX call on Nov. 4.
