Binance's 10:20 a.m. ET (14:20 UTC) reading came in at $2,348, putting it $2 below the $2,350 mark. Fifteen minutes earlier, the exchange had quoted Ether at $2,369, $21 higher.
A separate one-hour reading for the period ending with the 10:20 a.m. ET snapshot showed a 0.79% decline. That percentage covers an hour, while the price comparison uses only the 10:05 and 10:20 observations.
On Oct. 18, an earlier EconoTimes Binance snapshot near $2,350 put Ether at $2,351, $1 above that level.
