Ethereum led chain-level decentralized-exchange (DEX) volume in the latest seven-day snapshot, while total DEX trading rose 6.2% to $53.67 billion, a gauge of activity across crypto trading platforms, DefiLlama data showed.

Uniswap recorded $16.27 billion in weekly volume. PancakeSwap had $5.73 billion, followed by Aero at $5.47 billion. By blockchain, Ethereum registered $15.84 billion and Solana $11.09 billion; Base had $8.20 billion and BSC $6.06 billion.

The chain and platform figures group trades in different ways: one compares blockchain networks, while the other ranks individual exchanges. DefiLlama's 24-hour DEX volume was $9.64 billion. DEX trading represented 23.16% of volume relative to centralized exchanges.

An earlier EconoTimes weekly DEX ranking report said Solana led the Layer 1 and Layer 2 comparison for a fifth straight weekly reading.
