Ethereum accounted for nearly half of a $46.3 billion tokenized real-world asset market on Oct. 25, with its $21.8 billion total giving the network the largest reported position among blockchain platforms.
BNB Chain held the second-largest amount at $6.1 billion, while Solana and Stellar each measured $3.6 billion. Ethereum’s total exceeded BNB Chain’s by $15.7 billion and was more than three times as large. The reported market total had increased by 920% across the three-year period.
Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) are blockchain tokens linked to holdings such as securities, commodities, funds and real estate. Tokenization can support quicker settlement, continuous trading and ownership divided into smaller units. The Oct. 25 total was up from a $38.8 billion market snapshot in mid-September, a $7.5 billion increase between the two readings.
Tokenized U.S. government bonds contributed substantially to Ethereum’s broader RWA value. That helps explain why Ethereum’s aggregate position was larger than the totals for other networks, even as rankings varied by asset category.
XRP Ledger recorded higher inflows of tokenized commodities than Ethereum, while Ethereum retained the larger overall asset value. The measures describe different parts of the market: commodity inflows focus on one asset category, while the overall figures compare value across the broader range of tokenized assets.
The figures show both the scale of Ethereum’s lead in the overall market and how that lead does not extend to every segment. The market total’s rise from the mid-September snapshot offers a recent comparison, while the three-year increase points to substantial growth in reported tokenized-asset value over that longer period.
