SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 07, 2017 -- RSA CONFERENCE 2017 -- EventTracker, a leader in security information and event management (SIEM), today announced that it will be demonstrating SIEMphonic, its comprehensive managed security service, designed to give small to midsized companies enterprise-level protection from cyberthreats, at RSA Conference 2017, South Hall booth #2710, Feb. 13-17.
The SIEMphonic service is based on the award-winning EventTracker platform, which includes SIEM, intrusion detection, vulnerability scanning, threat intelligence, and HoneyNet deception technology, implemented either on-premises or in the cloud.
Through EventTracker’s managed detection and response (MDR) capabilities, the platform provides continuous monitoring for cyberthreats. The technology collects data from a variety of sources—platform, application and network logs, alerts from intrusion detection systems (IDS), and vulnerability scans. Threat intelligence from a rich ecosystem of global and community sources is merged along with customized honeypots for local data, to rapidly identify threats and enable investigation and response.
Experts at the company’s new 24/7 intelligence-driven security operations center (SOC) provide remote administration and analytics.
“SIEM, on its own, produces a high noise-to-signal ratio, and critical alerts can get lost amongst the deluge of data. Converting the technology capability into actionable results requires security analyst time and expertise, often rare in mid-market companies. SIEMphonic empowers these businesses to invest in their desired outcome—protection for their networks and IT assets from the evolving threat landscape—rather than just the technology,” said A.N. Ananth, CEO and co-founder of EventTracker. “Don’t settle for shelfware. Get results.”
Demonstrations will be held every 30 minutes from 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. PT, Feb. 14-15 and 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. PT, Feb. 16, with all participants receiving a free “What’s up breaches?” T-shirt. See how EventTracker can:
- Anticipate, detect and analyze threats
- Gain real-time visibility and oversight
- Terminate breaches in real time
In addition to the demo theater, Ananth, one of the architects of the company’s SIEM solution, will be at the booth and available for interviews. A leading expert in IT compliance with more than 25 years’ experience in IT control and operations, he has an extensive background in product development and operations for telecom network management and has consulted for many companies on their compliance strategy, audit policy, and automated reporting processes. He frequently speaks on these topics and is still heavily involved in EventTracker’s strategic product direction.
Team members from Netsurion, EventTracker’s parent company and a leading provider of managed security services for multi-location businesses, will also be on hand to answer questions about the Oct. 2016 merger, named one of ChannelE2E’s Top 100 MSP, CSP, VAR Mergers and Acquisitions of 2016.
