FIBA and global leading tech brand TCL have confirmed their continued collaboration as Global Partners for another four years, building upon their highly successful relationship. Since their partnership began in 2018, TCL has showcased its premium-level branding at all major FIBA tournaments.
According to a press release at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, TCL played a vital role in delivering FIBA's largest and most successful event in international basketball history.
Sportcal reported that this included the construction of commercial display booths in all three host countries and installing Fan Cams for on-court activities during all 92 games.
FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Global Ambassador
TCL has become synonymous with high performance and excellence through its 'TCL Player of the Game' award at FIBA events. Leveraging the power of brand exposure in FIBA's leading competitions, this platform has accelerated TCL's globalization efforts while increasing its influence in local markets. This has resulted in both sales and reputation benefits for TCL.
During the closing ceremony of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Global Ambassador Luis Scola presented the prestigious TCL Player of the Game award to Franz Wagner of Germany. This moment further highlighted TCL's significant contribution to the tournament's success.
Both FIBA and TCL joined forces on a Corporate Social Responsibility project called 'Break and Believe' aimed at boosting the appeal of girls and women's basketball. This initiative was launched at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 in Australia and has become an integral part of FIBA's renowned 'Her World, Her Rules' project.
Strong Partnership Continues
Andreas Zagklis, FIBA Secretary General, expressed satisfaction with the extended partnership, stating that TCL's active involvement in promoting Women in Basketball aligns with FIBA's strategic priorities. The agreement marks TCL's commitment to supporting more comprehensive basketball campaigns.
Ms. Wei Xue, Vice President of TCL Technology, expressed honor in extending the strategic cooperation with FIBA for the next four years.
