CHICAGO, April 18, 2017 -- Fertility Centers of Illinois and RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association will recognize National Infertility Awareness Week®, April 23 through April 29, joining millions of women and men struggling to build a family, health care professionals, mental health professionals, and other thought leaders to promote greater awareness about infertility. “Many couples and individuals feel isolation and sadness because of infertility,” explains Dr. Chris Sipe, President of Fertility Centers of Illinois. “National Infertility Awareness Week is a movement to educate the public and create greater infertility awareness. Our goal is to help women and men find answers and get the support they need to address the medical, emotional, social and economic challenges infertility can present.”
“The theme of National Infertility Awareness Week is ‘Listen Up!’ and RESOLVE is honored to bring together the entire infertility community to call attention to the issues facing this community,” said Barbara Collura, RESOLVE’s President/CEO. “By listening to those impacted we have an opportunity to raise awareness about the many barriers millions face in pursuit of a family.”
